He is country editor for New Zealand, responsible for upstream intelligence and content for the Global Exploration and Production Services (GEPS), a subject matter expert for the basins of Australasia and helps coordinate the continued review and input of geological content into the Basin Monitor dataset. Mr Ewan has worked for 10 years in the upstream industry and joined S&P Global in 2012 to work on field specific data. He has previous experience as an exploration geologist for a UK based consultancy charged with seismic interpretation and prospect generation in India, Iraq and Suriname. Mr Ewan has a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and water resource management from the University of Gloucestershire and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London.
