IHS Markit Agribusiness Market Reporting Services are Changing
At IHS Markit, we are making some exciting changes to a number of our agribusiness market reporting and current information services, which are due to join IHS Markit's flagship information delivery platform Connect™.
Connect is a powerful business and market intelligence platform which provides efficient access to an unmatched concentration of industry analysis, in-depth market research and economic forecasts from over 2,000 world renowned experts.
This is part of our commitment to delivering greater value to our clients, via a more intuitive, online service. You will continue to receive your usual agribusiness market reporting content, produced by the existing, reliable, expert analyst and research teams, on an ongoing basis, plus a number of benefits from the new service.
These changes will take place before the end of June, and we will be communicating additional information to clients on what is happening and when, over the course of this period.
Which services are changing?
Four news and market reporting services from IHS Markit Agribusiness are joining Connect:
- Agrow
- Animal Pharm
- IEG Vu
- IEG Policy
In order to better align to the industry each service represents, and to the other coverage areas on the Connect platform, under Market Reporting, each service is renaming to the following:
- Agrow - Renaming as Crop Science
- Animal Pharm - Renaming as Animal Health
- IEG Vu - Renaming as Food and Agricultural Commodities
- IEG Policy - Renaming as Food and Agricultural Policy

experience, eliminating potential distractions for clients using
the service.

Begin your workflow directly from the platform or leverage
full article feeds and data APIs to bring our expertise efficiently
into your organization. Available for enterprise-wide licence
clients only - to feed into your internal models or intranets.
Customize
Within the new service, a more granular level of
personalization is available to the user, bespoke email alerts that
can be customized by topics, day, time and frequency. This enables
clients to view and receive the latest insight at a frequency that
suits their schedules. The platform also includes the ability for
clients to easily bookmark and share articles, export datasets for
analysis, and set custom alerts to stay up to date on specific
topics.
Greater food and agricultural commodities market
reporting and policy coverage
Food and Agricultural Commodities and Policy
(IEG Vu and IEG Policy) clients will benefit from
the weekly roundups now including all coverage areas within each
service, not only the channels you subscribe to. This additional
content can inform your view. including full access to the top
roundup articles included in the weekly briefing PDF.
Support available
We will be communicating training sessions for the new service that
you can attend closer to launch. Additionally, there will be
training guides videos and PDFs available.
