VTIP enables you to assess current competitive position for key attributes including, mass efficiency, aerodynamic drag, tire rolling resistance, tractive energy, tractive efficiency, fuel economy, CO2, electric range, and acceleration performance. This subscription solution provides highly granular technical specifications plus synthesized variables and projected acceleration performance. Check out how some clients are already using VTIP:

  • To support the mid-term evaluation greenhouse regulations, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) requested a comprehensive evaluation of the entire U.S. fleet, which is 1500 unique vehicles: all brands, all models.
  • Client Request:  Determine best-in-class mass efficiency, aerodynamic drag, and tire rolling resistance among all vehicles in the U.S. fleet.
  • Solution: Generate distributions of the VTIP metrics of mass efficiency, aerodynamic drag, and tire rolling resistance to select best-in-class levels by vehicle type.

  • Client Request: provide efficiency trends for specific internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies.
