This supplement reviews pertinent patents, technical and trade journal publications that appeared between March 1966 and January 1, 1972. The patent summaries presented are based to a large extent on abstracts because composition-of-matter patents seldom contain information that would be useful in addition to that summarized in the abstracts.

Cost estimates are presented on production of flexible and rigid slab stocks, and a series of molding operations with emphasis on cold cure and integral skin moldings. The latter two are the major process developments of the period reviewed.
